TV Series

Like almost everybody else in North America, I have a TV which is almost always turned on.  However, with various family members being in different age ranges, sometimes what I like to watch isn't appropriate to be on TV.  Because of this, I like to get my shows from other sources.

I will be going out of town for a while, and will not have a TV while away.  What I would like to do is watch a DVD or two¹ on my laptop, which I will be bringing with me.  But I also need ideas of what to watch.

So far, I've watched the complete series of Babylon 5, and am currently watching Battlestar Galactica.  My main criteria are:

• A continuing storyline.  If I'm going to be watching an entire series, I don't want them to press the reset button at the end of each episode.
• A completed or continuing series.  I don't want to watch a series that got canceled before it reached some conclusion, such as a season-one cliffhanger and no season two.  For the same reason, I don't want to get hooked on a show that has only had a single season, as these seem (to me) more likely to get cut off before they reach a critical mass.
